A Shroud of Silence is an animated short which uses stop motion and digital 2D techniques. It was created by one person, with a very limited budget: the set was assembled in a living room, lit using two cheap table lamps, and shot with a 100 € camera.

If you're wondering whether you too could make something like this - or if you're simply curious how it all came together - then just read on. While the following may not be a comprehensive guide for making stop motion puppet animation, I will nonetheless try to go over some of the processes which worked for me, and which are accessible to anyone without a huge budget or wealth of experience.
